I'm now the proud owner of a blue 98 SS and I'm trying to find out as much as I can about the car. Some of the RPO codes on my car are not listed in the typical GM RPO code lists. Does anybody know where I can get a complete list of RPO codes for the 98 SS Camaro? TIA, Tom -------------------- Tom 98 Camaro SS, NBM, SLP #808, T-tops, A4, Loudmouth Exhaust, SLP Lid.

You should be able to go your dealer and get a VIN printout that shows all the RPO codes for that particular car.

Welcome... I am new to the chirpthird board and the SS craze also. Although I must admit, I am having a blast checking out my 02 LE SS. Teri put me onto the dealer RPO manifest idea as well and that was a great lead. Good luck and Happy New Year!! Pofomoco [ 01. What are the codes you want to know? List them and I will do my best. I have all the GM codes. If the 1998 SS went to an upfitter for conversion to SS, there will be codes to denote this etc. So I can't post the list, its 200 pages longs and a huge pdf file.

WU8 indicates it's an SS and RPO Y2Y on the driver's door sticker indicates whether it was eligible for additional SLP content. Any SLP Content will be listed on the passenger door sticker. It is possible in '98 to have SLP content w/out Y2Y, and it is possible to have Y2Y without additional content. Every car, whether or not it got additional SLP content went to SLP for upfit.

My car doesn't have a Y2Y code. I've been able to find most of them but every database I've found has been incomplete. These are the ones that I can't find. CAE, FE4, PBT, QFK, R7A, R9W, UZ7, VM3, 1SZ, 6ZR, 7ZR, 8HS, 9HS Thanks for your help. -------------------- Tom 98 Camaro SS, NBM, SLP #808, T-tops, A4, Loudmouth Exhaust, SLP Lid.
