Okay, I had a little off track excursion with the car, and bent the front suspension. The shops got everything in except the front lower control arm, which their GM supplier lists as an SLP specific part, which is on backorder. Now I've been around fourth gen f-bodies since 95, and I've never heard of a different front lower control arm for the Firehawk/SS.
Anybody got any info on this?
My guess is that it's just the regular lower arm with a different bushing (ala 1LE), but it supposedly is a newer part that supercedes the original arms that came on the car and allow for additional negative camber adjustment. If that's the case, I'd rather just get 1LE lower arms which are available, since I'm already going to go with Globalwest upper front control arms, which will provide more negative camber.

I think you're right - its just the 1LE LCA. Post this question on the back porch and ask ChrisL for the suspension chart. It'll show what it is.

Just found the answer this morning. Apparently it is just a regular 1LE part, the SLP rep they were talking to thought they were talking about the rear control arms, which is where the revised SLP part comes in (they no longer make have/make any of the stock rear control arms with higher durometer bushings).
