What is a good wipe or cleaner to keep my 2001 Camaro SS's engine compartment showroom clean. Any Ideas?

Thanks,

Rich...

Here's what I do, based on a suggestion from a member of the Camaro Club of San Diego:

Put some Simple Green diluted about 4 to one with water in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the engime compartment components with this. Attach a nozzle on your garden hose that emits a light, fine spray and rinse.

Do not over do it. A light mist should do the trick. Use Zaino tire gloss in the black rubber and plastic parts.

Good luck. My engine still looks showroom clean after 12 K miles. I've cleaned the engine compartment twice in this manner.

I have found 409 Pro to be very good as well! Get the "Pro" not the "automotive" same stuff but the pro is about a buck less per bottle...

"Clear Magic" used the same way as the Simple Green suggested above works very well and doesn't smell as bad.
