Just installed Amsoil Synthetics in the beast. All data indicates that this product reduces wear better than any other product on the market. Recommed using 0W-30W in a new engine with less than 3,000 miles. Amsoil also has many other syn. products available. Check out www.oil-tech.com/amscmpr.htm for comparison of products. I'd be suspicious of an article in an Australian magazine (that I never heard of) that is 2 years old. The brands tested against I don't believe are sold here. Also, why hasn't any of the major magazines picked up on this?
Just my $.02.

We can nit-pick data all day long.If RED LINE flows at -135 degrees or whatever,and Mobile 1 only flows at -122 degrees or whatever,I could care less.Here is how I picked. * Mobile 1 X 5qts X $4.00 = $20 * Red line X 5qts X $6.00 = $30
This means I get a Super Duper Mobil oil filter free with every change.
