Great pic, I`m jealous of you guys/gals that don`t require front plates it sure looks cleaned up in the front without that big old plate holder . Big $$ fines up here for not having one and with these cars cops pay a lot of attention to you if you, know what I mean!!

Mass, and New Hampshire are required to have front plates. I live in Mass and have had no front plate for 4 years, no tickets just been pulled over once as a warning. Knock on wood!

If you look closely you will see the bottom of my plate mounted to the air dam. I have had a few police officers take a look but haven't been stopped yet. I figure at least there is one on there. Posts: 5946 | From: Litchfield, NH, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

Hey Flyboy, We're required to have a front plate here in MD, as well. Here is where many of us have moved it to.

Great idea but the NDP(New Democrat Party) commies here have thought of everything. Apparently it has to be mounted a certain number of inches from the ground so as to be plainly visible. We also have photo radar here but that is a whole other post!! Damn commies!!

The law in Ontario ( not sure about the other provinces ) says that you must have your tag at the most forward point of your car and completely visible. The old 'tag on the air deflector' trick unfortunately is not an option here in the Great White North.
Funny I should come here and find a pic of our cars. I was just thinking about it over the weekend. You ain't kiddin' about it being cold that day. I really enjoyed meeting you too. I took a few pics when I got home but they didn't come out very well. I just got a digital camera, so I'll take few when I get a chance and get 'em posted. We should hook up again some time soon. Maybe some Saturday if we get a favorable forecast and dry roads. Any other SS friends in the area are welcome. I would love to meet other owners and talk cars. We could take over the parking lot at the Backstreet Bar&Grille. In the Spring, I'll bring my camcorder and shoot some video in a nice location. I made videos of my last two f-bodies and I'd love to add to my "collection".
Take care, Andy

Oh yeah, road racing came up pretty quick. I've always wanted to do that and now with other friends who also enjoy it, it'll be that much better. It would be great to meet the Paul from Acton.
Hey Dan, they're forecasting more snow for later this week. The last storm made a salty, slushy mess down here too. I'll keep her parked a while longer.
I don't know if you saw my post on SLP forum, but I had some critter problems a couple weeks back. Mice and squirrels had started to make a home under the hood. I found the engine bay on the right side stuffed with acorns. The car was tucked away snug and dry under a cover. I guess it was too inviting. Anyway, I got it all cleaned up and spotless again in about 10 minutes. No damage to wires and electronics. No sign of 'em in the car. I laid out a couple boxes of mothballs and some Victor rat traps baited with peanut butter for the squirrels. No sign of 'em since then. My garage stinks of mothballs, but I'll put up with that if it keeps the critters away.

IF they stay out of the garage, I'll live and let live. If they go in, all bets are off.
My deckmat came today. It looks really neat. I got mine with the personalized option. It has my name and car number on it. My commemorative portfolio came too. I'm just waiting for the rest of the portfolio stuff from SLP. It takes a little while to put the car specific data together I guess.
Later, Andy
