Production for F-Bodies as we know them today will end with the 2002 model year. This includes Camaro's and Firebird's. There are many rumors about future models but they are still rumors. I expect that with the brand recognition of Camaro, there will be a return after some period of time. I would expect a rear wheel drive performance car to have the Camaro name.

I didn't know that. I heard they are putting the LS6 in for the final model year.

2002 will be the last year of our beloved F-Bodies, at least in this incarnation. The LS6 will not make it to the F-Bodies unless it is also the standard Vette engine. Aint never gunna happen.
