Like I didn't pay enough dues already with getting up with kids at night. Grace picked up my Christmas present Saturday. Yippeee, now we have kids around the house again, only this time it's boys!!

Join the club - You should have seen me sleeping on the kitchen floor beside our new pup when we got her, kept her quiet so everyone else could sleep.

Thanks Hawkeye. It has been just about a year since I lost my last Pal. He was a Norwegian Elkhound only a year and a half old. I'll love them when they are house broken!

Thanks to all, you are all right on all counts. MikeF you cracked me up!! I have had a similiar scenario with my last dog!!
The names have been chosen by my youngest daughter, Dan. She is calling them Harold and Sam. I don't like theose names but they are already starting to respond to them, soooo.......
B0, I have never tried to house break two at once before and they sleep in the same kennel, so this is going to be an adventure. Now Grace on the other hand should have no problem. We have twins, so she is used to cleaning up after two. In fact the twins are 13 month younger than their older sister, so Grace could handle 3. At least she could 20 years ago. Wheewww, time fly's.

Thanks Chris. Any hints or suggestions? I never had Golden's before. I have had other dogs but never a Golden. Email me if you want. They really seem to be very clingy and affectionate little buggers. Posts: 5946 | From: Litchfield, NH, USA | Registered: Feb 2000

well, they are the most affectionate dogs I've ever had. If you need help housebraking, let me know. there are some strange tips the breeder taught me that really helped.
We kept one of the six, but we lost her last year to lymphoma Been toying with the idea of getting another pup, but, havent built up the guts to pull the trigger yet. You certainly know what I mean.

Chris, I'll glad take any suggestions you have. We are doing pretty well right now. We have had dogs before so we use a kennel for them to sleep in and then take them out every 4 hours. So far so good, but advice is welcome.
I know exactly what you mean. It tok me a full year before I could get another dog after my last one. I still miss him!!
Hawkeye, I hope you have some big rooms in that new house of yours!!
