Ok, first of all . . . this is how busy I've been . . . just when *is* the Michigan SLP day?

Second . . . if there's a convoy of folk going, I'm willing to see if I can finagle some time off for that

Jim, Leonard & Matt - any of you thinkin' of going?

Jason

Still very much a might on the convoy thing I don't even know if I'll be able to save enough (depending on date) and I think the same goes for the other 2.

Y can't SLP have one in Topeka We have an NHRA track (Heartland Park) hint hint...

How about St. Louis? We've got everything and it's central to everybody. Just a thought.

Still trying to figure out how Ann Arbour, Michigan can be described as "Mid-West" but anyway, on my calendar it's June 15 & 16. That's when the Camaro Legends tour is scheduled to be there.

I've been trying to figure that out since last year when it was there. I think Topeka would be a more appropiate place for the event (still hinting on that Daaave )

That will help out significantly on the dates. That will hopefully be enought time for me to have enough saved for the Firehawk Rally and SLP day

"when are the west coast people gonna get an SLP day???"

From what I can see in the pointer Dave supplied, looks like one IS scheduled for the "west coast" - the BAD news as far as *I* can tell, is that it looks like it will be in Las Vegas area?

Like Possum sez, Michigan AIN'T the "mid west", any more than Las Vegas is the "west coast"...

I'm grateful to SLP for anything we can participate in - but a 1200 mile round-trip drive from the Sacramento area (within minutes of the REAL west coast...) out into Nevada ain't too appealing, especially in summer time...

I keep campaigning for Sears Point near Sonoma and in wine country - nice facility, nice climate, and all the Sacramento valley, Bay area cities plus gold country towns SS owners to draw on, and MANY attractive side trips available for those wanting additional attractions to justify a longer drive to the area...
