Long time no talk, again, but I had to let you all know how things have been going for me.
This new year has sucked major butt! Here's a few pics of what I'm talking about...
I have some more I took today at the body shop with the hood off, the fender off, the nose off, and the door and fender sanded and ready for paint.
How this happened?, I'm sure you want to know.
I was helping my future father in law move, and he lives out where there are no street lights. So I was parked in the front driveway area, and my fiance's sister had a car load of boxes and crap, and she was backing up and backed right into the front passenger side quarter panel/nose area, right in front of my rim.
The shop estimate was $2000 BEFORE the teardown, that was just visual damage, there's a few more things that will need fixing now that it's tore down, so I would guess that there's another $1000 or so left.
Needless to say I was sickened to see it, the worst part was I really couldn't get mad because it was family that hit it. So I pretty much wanted to puke when I saw it.
The only "good" thing is that I get my hood repainted, and hopefully I won't get so many rock chips now so it won't look like crap.
Thanks for listening, sorry for the novel
Take care and be careful!
