Jim was the author of "All Corvettes are Red". I just read in Autoweek that he died Jan.21. I knew him as I was there the whole time he was writing the book. He was a heck of a guy. What a shame, he was only 60. To some of us, that's not old. My condolences to his family.

I saw this the other day too. It was oddly and tragicly coincidental for me in that I finally purchased "ACAR" just last week and had finished it the night before reading about his death in Autoweek.

A tremendously important read to anyone even remotely attached to their cars.
