Got sick on my into work this morning, I was riding alongside an Aztec too long and my stomach started turn, man is that an ugly thing. Along with: Toyota Celicas Mercury Cougars That Subaru thing Which ones am I missing?
There should be a law that they can only bring them out at night or on one way streets so as to not jeopardize the health of other drivers.
What can these auto makers be thinking?

I agree with you on some of them but the cougars, granted I wouldn't buy one, I don't think look very bad. I've actually seen some that were tricked out a little that looked good. Lincoln Navigator, now that is a sick looking SUV. The black ones look bad. Granted the Escalade is better but it's cool with me.
Add to list: -new civic -geo metro -any of the hybrid cars (echo, insight, etc.)

I like the insight and tiburon's styling. Just because a car is small doesn't mean it can look nice. Now the astec needs some serious work on the grill and wheel wells

Speaking of sickening in a car.... Ever had the sh(ts when stuck in rush hour? It's a great joy to have other fellow motorists look at you when trying your damndest to hold on to all that pressure by doing breathing exercises while making sure nothing comes out via clinching the butt checks. Yes.. this did happen to me. Yes I was embarassed. No I did not have any sort of accident, but was late for work. I have a new respect for jet propulsion.

how abt the chev ssr and it has not even come out yet. i think that gm's designs are of late generally awfully dull looking except the corvette,F body, the trucks and large suv's. Posts: 86 | From: long beach, ca, usa | Registered: Apr 2000

If you saw the recent GM design team awards I think you'll see the root of the problem. Little video game generation X geeks putting designs together that defy all laws of form and function and getting awards! Somehow they have convinced the auto manufacturers that this is what the public wants, and those block heads are believing it.
In the meantime, the classic, retro look, and clean lines are selling faster than they can make them.
That junk with slahes for headlights, cars that look the same frontward or backward, that Cadillac.....thing!
Man what are they thinking and when will those guys wake up?
Thanks for listening!!!

How can we forget the "new" VW Beetle? The back doesn't look too bad... a good update on the original, but the front end is uglier than a dog's @ss. The front wheels are way too forward.
I agree with the "bug shell" analogy for Celica, et. al.: FUGLY! Retro will rule in the coming years as the PT Cruiser is proving. Aztec takes the 2001 Dog Pile Award, hands down.
