"2nd ANNUAL SLP CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY APRIL 21,2001 RACEWAY PARK, ENGLISHTOWN NJ"
Well, its official, now you can Pre-Register for the event, that will be even bigger than last year. It's free and gar'un'teed to be a blast.
Whether you want to 'show 'n shine', or trip the lights on the 1/4 mile, or just wander thru the 'tons 'o cars' that will be present, it's all gonna be there. And it's all FREE, but ya gotta pre-register.
Here's some SLP Day pictures from last year, compliments of MAFBAs one and only 'DigitalMan'.
Drop by and meet the people behind the products, that stand behind their products. See what's new and what's coming. Gotta question, now would be the time to ask.
Also, be sure to look for the Mid-Atlantic F-Body Assoc (MAFBA) tent when you come. Stop in and say hello.
For many that went last year, we stayed at the Ramada, and for the most part took it over. Here's their link for the Ramada Inn in E. Brunswick. A block of rooms has been set aside and the price negotiated. Mention MAFBA when trying to reserve a room for this event.
Be sure to consider the 'Cruise to the Coast' on Sunday. Many of us that have the drive back to the MD/DC/VA area, are going to make the best of it. From E. Brunswick to the coast, thru Toms River, maybe a photo op in the SLP parkin' lot???, and into Atlantic City. After lunch we'll make our way back to I-95 on US 40 and head down the road.

A Zaino'd Hugger coupe, w/a Grey cloth interior and an A4. In addition, there's an SLP OEM Diff cover w/drain plug, SLP SFC's and PanHard Rod and BMR's STB that has been installed. It has the airbox raised for a little more fresh air with a Whisper Lid on top and fuel rail covers added for show. It has always run on Mobil 1. GMPP DuraStop pads on all four corners & GMPP front rotors help to control the 3510 lb 'beast' on the street and at the track. I'm all signed up. I signed for the show and shine and time trials. I wanted to do both. I'm inexperienced at the 1/4 so I know I'll get wiped quickly. I do want to show my baby as well so it worked out. I can't wait!!

Hey Steve - They'll have one on your side of the world this year. They just 'fine tune' it at NJ in April, that's all.

Last year we staged at the Ramada and cruised to the track from there.
NOTE TO SELF dont let the out of towners lead leaving the hotel this year, they got lost last time
Chris, I'll be cruisin down Fri with a bunch from Hudson Valley Camaro. It'd be great if you could hook up with us for the ride. I'll definetly contact you for that.

Most of us are staying at the Ramada as referenced in Mikes message above. The ECCC has a bunch coming down from New England and there are many others. Mike has arranged a rate for us. Just tell them you are calling from MAFBA.

Registered on Friday. I'm working on six more SS's in my area to make the trip. We started a SS club down here in the Piedmont and I'm also working on getting them in the SSOA! Looking forward to seeing everyone in NJ!

Sounds good Paul!! We can paln when it gets closer. I am sorry to hear the ECCC folks aren't going to be able to make it. I wanted us to be able to show off. Lyle's car and others could have made a good showing on the track!! Oh well, we'll just have to cover for them!
