I have a 99 ss and when the temp. drops below 32 degrees the gauges flip out, so i had the local gm place put the new ones in, and it took them two tries sence the first time they didn't order the right part, then the screwed up and put 650 miles less on the odometer. oh well. but now the air bag light is always on in the instrument panel. what did they do wrong? or what did they forget to do? And off the subject what in the hell does NFB stand for?????????? thanks for your time.

Non F-body. Per the note it is to be in the topic line of all threads that aren't related to the Camaro or Firebird.

Hard to tell what they did wrong. It could be as simple as something being unplugged.
Be persistent and take it back.

SS - What is the speed of the airbag at deployment?

What is the flow of air into and out of the bag?

What is the tensile strength of the airbag material.

Any other questions?

Alls I know is flow "out" when I eat too much Taco Bell... Which on occasion could prolly match the flow of airbag deployment.

I used some to patch a hole in my boat the other day.. seems perty strong.

If you are referring to who I think you are.... That boy is full of "flow". Sounds like he reads a few more magazine articles than I do.

Any other questions?

ROTFLMAO - you got it!! No more questions, I don't even know what to ask, but at least I admit it!! HA ha.

On second thought, one more question. Is the air bag material strong enough to hold a good solid rod?

Now... your last famous move is to delete this entire thread like "the champ" keeps doing to me.

I was thinking about deleting it but I can't, it was not started by me and I am not an all powerful moderator.
