Well, the SS is due anytime now...so I need to start thinking about joining SSOA.

Can anybody explain the benefits of the paid membership. I know there was some "friction" a while back about stuff not happening, but I think that is behind us, no?

Hmmmm...guess it's going to be time to change the handle as well...John97RS just isn't going to cut it anymore.

John,
The biggest benefit is the people in the club. There is a great group here. I still think your RS is one great looking car. I will see you again at SLP day in NJ.
We do group price arrangements for things like the Bragg-Snith Advanced driving school. Also, there is the SSOA stickers (Teri will even help you get an extra after you mess up the first one). Also, she is working on letters of authenticity with Dave at SLP. But once again, the best part is going somewhere and meeting up with the friends you get to know through SSOA. It's a lot like MAFBA, with people all ove rthe US and Canada. I am happy that I joined. That is how I got to know many of my friends.
Hope you decide to join! We would be happy to have you. See you in April
Dan

Thanks Dan,

I'm definitely looking forward to meeting you again! I was so busy soaking in my first big car show last April that I don't remember too many faces. Be sure to introduce yourself...my Bright Red SS shouldn't be too hard to spot.

I've got the membership application printed out, and it should be in the mail tomorrow!

As for the RS...still no takers. I might end up keeping it as my...
RAINY DAY CAR!

Hi!
Also a new member. It's very neat to be able to talk with folks who have the same interests you do...the very same...not just F-bods...but SS's...and all that pertains to them...no matter what year...and if it's just show 'n shine or all out track stuff, NOS 'n all...there'll be lots of input to questions you have, and the answers will be from people who know their cars...and by extension...yours!
And they'll be just as happy to have your input to their questions as well.
Not to mention...sometimes it's funny enough...you have to laugh out loud!!!

The Letters are printed, but I'm waiting on some packet goodies (shhhh, that's a secret). When they come in, Steve & I will assemble the 2nd packet and get them all out as soon as possible.
