starting a new week on a sad note - the only good thing is that he died doing what he loved to do.

Have a good one friends.

Deck done?

It's actually 5 separate decks and a wood walkway that snakes it's way through the side and backyard and around two fishponds with docks and a gazebo. I'll have put down close to 7000 board feet of plank by the time I'm finished...

...it'll be a beautiful thing indeed...

You could have built a house with all of that wood

'mornin' all.

Sad note indeed. The man I wouldn't want to be today is Sterling Marlin. Probably a hundred taps like that in the race ... but .....

Morining all. UnHappy_Dan today. I am a big NASCAR fan and Rusty Wallace and Dale are my favorites. Rusty probably shouldn't have been where he was. There is no blame to be made here. Not to Sterling or Rusty. It is racing and we know the risks. I am with JimB0 on this, just another example of the big sh$$. Everything else is small stuff. NASCAR stars have been a great example of what pro athletes should be. Now we have lost one of the greatest if not THE greatest ever. I pray for Dale and his family and all the NSACAR family. They are truly a family.

Just in case my post is misunderstood .. I am in no way blaming Sterling ... simply saying that if I was the one that had made contact I would be absolutely sick ...

I agree with the sentiments of all the posts ... it's part of racing

Sorry, Art. Didn't mean it to sound that way. I simply meant that stuff happens in racing. I agree completely with what you said. I am sure that they are all sick .... as are we.
