man am i pissed, i just finished washing my car and pulled into my driveway and my front tire rubbed up against the curb and tore a gash in the side of it. $350 for a new tire thats a sh**t load of money for a freakin tire.

What kind of tire do you have?If you have the Goodyear F1 you can get it from the Tire Rack and get it for $199 and about $10 for shipping.

yeah I have the goodyear f1,I wish I had known about the tire rack before I spent the money at goodyear. what a rip-off!!
The tire only had 400 miles on it , does anyone know if its under warranty maybe I can get some money back.

I doubt it unless you had a road hazzard warranty then they'll pro-rate it based on the amount of tread left.

hey galecs, i did the same thing, except i hit a road construction plate in east new york. does anyone have the websight to tire rack? galecs, i am in floral park and have family in malverne. we should hook up when the weather breaks. P>S> i know most of the cops there too!

Just a suggestion... most tire shops in my area will match Tire Rack or Discount Tire prices so you might want to check around. They add the shipping charge that TR or DT would charge but it's more convenient.
