Help! Stray cats got on my hood and put scratches all over it and the fenders. Body shop says over $900 to fix by repainting. What can I do to fix it? How can I prevent it from happening again? The car cover I've seen seem too thin to stop cat claws.

The Noah should provide adequate protection from the elements and paw prints.

Keep it on your hood for a few days, then move it to the rear deck lid, then the roof. After a few encounters with the mat, a cat will learn that a car is not something it wants to sit on.

The FIRST thing I'd do to fix it is get my shotgun and eliminate the source of the problem.

I'm sorry to hear about your feline misfortune. Can't help with the scratches but the cats--that's another story.
