Has anyone heard the braxxton chambered exhaust. It sounds awesome!! I wonder if there is any way we could get a gp going on this. I know there is a gp going on for the b&b tri-flow which I was going to get until I heard the Braxxton. Does anyone have a sound clip of the B&B tri-flow?

I like the sound. I'm not real big on the looks.

As far as GP's go ... contact Braxxton or a distributor like Tom Byrne. If it's doable they'll give you a minumum quantity and unit pricing. Then you call all your friends and promote it on the message boards and hope there are enough fellow enthusiasts that want the system to qualify the GP.

I did one with BMR for STB's about a year ago ... it was a lot of work, but definitely worthwhile.

Once you polish the Braxxton System prior to going on, it will blow your socks off when you see it finally installed from the rear. I also used my stock SS tips to give it that stock appearance. Trust me, you will love it.

M004340, do you have any pics? What was the cost for the muffler alone?
Thanks.

My question on the braxxton, is there any reverb inside the car at highway speed (80mph) with windows up? I had this problem with my loud mouth exhaust.

At idle it sounds really no louder than stock, gooing through the gears, it depends just how hard you get down on it, the harder the louder. At cruise, at any speed, it is very quiet, only when you accelerate to a higher speed undet load does get louder, but not obtrusive.

I have spent years(37)listening to exhaust
systems.I have spent BIG bucks buying systems
If loud is what you want get the SLP loudmouth!!.If beautiful lucks, good HP and
great sound is what your looking for, then
B&B TRI-Flow is the ticket.
I saw and listened to the braxton on the Berger and Earnhardt Camaros. The sound is great, but the looks aren't what I am looking
for.Remember!!!!! Beauty is in the eye of the
beholder.Thank god we have different tasts in women too.!!

How would you compare the sound of the chambered exhaust to the loudmouth? I have heard the loudmouth in person and it wasn't as loud as I expected. If i was dissapointed by how loud the loudmouth was will I be even more dissapointed by the braxton?

It's been said that the LS1 is a quiet motor ... this is my current setup ... and as a 40 year old conservative I figure there's still a 50/50 chance that it will stay this way ... I hope to compare it with some of the others at SLP Customer Appreciation in Ann Arbor.

Yes, that's a straight pipe

I heard it in person two weeks ago. I met with Alex 97Z28 M6 from CamaroZ28.com in Austin,Tx. and he had a Braxxton Chambered Exhaust plus FLP headers & off-road pipe and it sounded bad-a$$! The best exhaust I've heard on a LT1. It was very loud and semi-loud at idle and I think it's great. I've talked to Matt Murphy, he designed the exhaust, and with this system the sound is where it's at! The system is not as loud as the Loudmouth, but has a more muscular 60's tone. If it's not loud enough for you just get an off-road pipe and you can hear it for a mile and have a awesome exhaust tone! I think the looks are great and makes it unique since no other exhaust looks like it.
Here's a link to the video clip of last year's exhaust. http://www.playground.net/~jsetter/braxton/

The new version(I call it the third version) has been out and GMMG,Inc has them in stock.
It goes for $600 so it's not cheap.
Here's their website www.firstgen.com/Braxxton.htm
Good Luck!
