How much were they again? They'd look great on mine with a black powdercoating.

I don't know that I'll be gettin any anytime soon, but I'd like to know. (I've got three sets now for the different tires I run)

They're 17x9.5 and I got them from an outfit in CA called hotrodwheels.com for $260 apiece. They retail for $320.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I know a lot of people don't like the retro-look of these rims, but being an "old guy" they give me a nice, warm feeling every time I gaze at them.

I wonder what a set of Cragars S/S's with that satin finish would look like? Now THAT's warm...

I totally agree, Old Guy.
The problem with the Cragar S/S rims is 1. they don't make them in our size and 2. with their steel construction they're just too darn heavy if you're performance-minded.

The wheel I really liked back in those days was a smooth aluminum wheel(no holes) with little rivit looking caps all around the perimeter. They would look good as well. I can't remember the name...must be that 101 octane I used to like to smell.

Smoothies!

Did they look anything like this:

Steve

P.S.- #197-79351 or #197-710351 would fit our vehicles and 275/40R17 tires perfectly and I agree, they'd look great!

Yep, the Centerlines are definitely nice.

Lots of manufacturers make variants of the "smoothie" style rim. My personal favorite are those made by Boyd Coddington:

The Flat Tops:
