If you take a teen agers who dosn't know how to handle thier emotions and coop with the daily stress of school they break. They do drugs, the join gangs, the do things that they know are wrong but they can't see out of the tunnel.
a gun makes a novice shooter feel powerful.
So When you combine a broken teenager with a gun you get somebody who thinks they can create an instant solution. But most fail to see the long term result to thier solution.
The key solving this showing the student the light at the end of tunnel.

Nope - I hoped not - and the shooter was caught. Perhaps some light can be shed that will help deter others from the same type of sensless violence.

thats all I heard about at school I got to ranncho bernardo high (north san diego county) and the shooting happened at santana high (south san diego county) all we heard about today was the shooting. I can't believe how someone could do that. I'm willing to be that within the next couple weeks we are gonna have shooting drills. We had one after the columbine incident and I get we are gonna have them now.
