I was wondering, what's the record or best time is for a plug and wire change out on a late model f-body? One man/woman, first timers, no prior exp, start to total completion, from factor tight plugs to new ones. Pros & Cons? Funny or horror story? Did anyone have to call "911" for being stuck or loss of blood? I did a NGK & MSD change out last night. I was buzzing along at 1.5 hour thinking "what the big deal"until, you guessed it, plug #8. I finally finshed and started the car at 2 hour and 20 mins. How did everyone else do?

All depends on what motor?

LT1? took me forever!! about 7 hours! I donated my blood to a blood bank. So I was good to go there. I HATED everyminute of this freaking deal. and I did it twice! My old 95 and my cousins 94. grrrrr...

LS1? Took me and my broh Chris about 1.5 hours. LS1 is a piece of cake compared to an LT1.

I do have an LS1. I can't beleive it could be worst. I never had the chance to do a LT1.

Unfortunitly, I'll let you know soon. I'm really dreading this! Hopefully it's one of those things that is not as bad once you actually do it. (Like FRC's)

Oh, it is that bad! 1-7 is easy and quick. Number 8 is a royal pain. I can't even imagine how bad a LT1 is if it is worse! I don't want to have to do it again.
