Nope - they supply everything. You only use helmets on the final day.

I have racing gloves that I bought for Lime Rock. They are more comfortable, especially if it's warm. They are Simpson, I think. It's been a long time since I looked at them or my helmet!! I am ready for spring! I will have them at SLP day if you want to try them.

I probably shouldn't admit to this, but I used a pair of bicycling gloves. The padded palms protected my hands where I was gripping the wheel and the mesh back on them kept my hands cool.
They worked great, and best of all....I think I got them on clearance at Target for around $6.00!!!
Oh, and the helmets they have available make a person look a bit like "Marvin the Martian".

everyone makes fun of mine, too. They're full leather work gloves. Light tan in color.
I soak them in water. Squeeze, not wring, them out and wear them dry. Perfect match to hand. 9 bucks at Home Depot.
Hey Dan - I've only been able to 'Zaino' my helmet this winter, waiting for the first track event. You ever hear of COM Sports Car Club? They are from your area and offer similar activities as NASA. I've joined 'cause I want to expand on track availabilities. Let me know. You've got mail, 2.
