Here are the details:Event: SLP APPRECIATION DAY (Sat. 4/21)
On FRIDAY 4/20, ...Caravan LEAVING Newburgh Mall (by McDonald's) (in
Newburgh, NY) at 1:00PM for Englishtown, NJ.
To anyone interested, Hudson Valley Camaro (HVC) is trying to get a
caravan together on Friday 4/20/01 to drive to Englishtown, NJ for the 2nd
annual SLP APPRECIATION DAY set for Saturday 4/21.
We plan on meeting in Newburgh, NY at the intersection of I-84 and
I-87(NYS Thruway) ...AT THE NEWBURGH MALL (by McDonald's) at 12:00 NOON. It
is very centrally located so we hope it accomodates as many as possible.

(We will then take I-87 SOUTH from there...)
DIRECTIONS from Connecticut: Take I-84 WEST to exit 7N, (Rt. 300, Union Ave.
exit The Newburgh mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT less than 1/4 mile,
...easy to see.
DIRECTIONS from Binghamton: Take Route 17 SOUTH(?) to Rt. 84 EAST (exit for
Newburgh). Take I-84 EAST (about 15+ minutes) to exit 7N (Rt. 300, Union
Ave. exit) The Newburgh mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT less than 1/4
mile, ...easy to see.
DIRECTIONS from the NORTH: Take I-87 SOUTH to exit #17 (Newburgh exit), go
through tolls, stay to your RIGHT, bear RIGHT immediately after overpass,
...you want to go NORTH on Rt.300/ Union Ave. Go about 1/2 mile, ...Newburgh
Mall (McDonald's) will be on your LEFT.
NOTE for anyone coming from Binghamton area: We realize this is a little
bit (about 20 minutes total) out of your way. If you choose to stay on route
17 to pick up I-87 in Harriman, NY, ...we will be passing through there
approximately 1:20PM (since we will depart the mall at 1:00pm) and will be
taking I-87 SOUTH from there...
IF you have a MOTOROLA TALKABOUT RADIO (or equivalent) we will be using
channel "6" subchannel "9" (6-9), (...AJ's SS-350 is a 1969).
We will be joined by members of East Coast Camaro Club as well.
