What do you all think about these Meg's Exhaust Tips. I was thinking of replacing my stock SLP Loudmouth Dual/Dual's with these:

What do you think? The Straight Cut or Angle Cut. Thanks...Rich

I would go for the angle cut and the 3" outlets. They would look sweet I was considering about getting those but the price to get to Canada was too expensive. They were going to be $200 Cdn. a side. OUch too rich for my blood. I just polished my 3.5" Loudmouth tips.

I think I might go with the Straight ones. Not the angle.

These look way sweet on the SS if you have chrome rims,it kinda adds a balance if you know what I mean ??
They cost big bucks though !!I`ve seen both and the angles arent very sharp and do look way Cool !!Make DAM SURE you have someone that can weld realy good !!

I had some angle cut 3.5" dual dual Megs tips installed about 2 months ago and I just love 'em. Like said above - they really go well with chrome rims.

Thanks for the info. I think I will order the Megs Angle Cut 3.5" Duals. They sure do like nice on your car. And yes I will make sure the Loudmouth's single pipe is not showing under the car.

Got a question for you guys. Im getting my 2001 SS in about a week or so and I was going to get the loudmouth also, but I love those mega's dual angle tips. Which tips do I need to get so they connect nicely to the loudmouth?

ST295 3" 3 1/2" 13" Angle Weld

OR

ST293 2 1/2" 3 1/2" 13" Angle Weld

I know I want the outlet diameter to be 3.5" but what about the tail pipe diameter for the loudmouth? Is it 2.5" or 3" ? or does it matter?

Thanks in advance!

Joe

Get the ST-293's. I had them put on my Loudmouth's. They are 2.5" on the inlet which is the thickness of the loudmouth's pipe. They look great on my 2001 SS. I was going to have them mounted flush with my bumper but I had them installed about 2" past my bumper. They look awesome. I will post some pictures when I get around to taking some pictures of my install.
