First off guys I have to say this new Chambered Exhaust rocks!!
Now heres my story that a lot of you have asked for Yesterday I was sitting watching some dumb talk show working on a part for me bike when I hear this clatter and all kinds of noise outside. Figuring it was the construction going on down the street at a middle school I went down to make sure low and behold an UPS guy getting his azz kicked by the biggest box you'll ever see
So I run out to help this guy, sign for the box and IM off tearing the tape off like a kid at Christmas!! I pull this box apart and find my new mod laying there waiting to be put on
I had to wait though because us poor fokes have to work too but when I got home (9:00 pm) it was on!! I jacked the rear of my SS high into the air looked like a funny car With respirator, safety glasses and ear plugs on and Dremel in hand I start my cutting what a pain in the azz that was took forever as IM a perfectionist. Once cut, I pull off the stock system and try to put in the new system just to find that I needed to raise the body more (due to the bigger pipe on the chambered system) so I jack up the body leaving the rear end on jack stands and it still didn't fit !!!! By then my buddy has arrived to help out and we pull off the panhard bar and it goes in no problem.
After replacing everything the way that it was and aligning the new exhaust, IM off to take a shower 3:00 am after a long soapy shower we head back to the garage to fire her up for the first time... WOW is all I can say this is one hell of a mean sounding exhaust it sounds sooooo sweet I almost cried (lol) we took her out for a spin and a few runs up and down the street but at nearly 4 am its way past my bed time.
The install was a piece of cake getting the stock one off was a major pain!! This exhaust makes my SS sound like the mustang :cough: from gone in 60 seconds I mean it sounds SWEET its not to loud but its definitely a lot louder then the stock POS its got a nice idle and is loud as hell at WOT all the time sounding like an old muscle car. Its like driving a new car all again.. I could feel a little better response and pulled a bit more but who knows if its just in my head or not ill take some more pics for you all today in the light and post em up for you guys/gals feel free to email me and if your really interested email me ill give you my number and you can call me and ill start it up over the phone or take a quick Video of it and send it to you
Glad to hear you liked it! I may take you up on the "crank it over the phone" deal!!

Okay, I know what you're talking about. The .AVI file Bille Lawler sent to me way back when. And Bille sent me the other 5 videos ,too. I thought the .AVI was something new. There is also RedDog's before/after video, but the F-Body Hideout has been down since the weekend. You bet I'm going to buy it. I should be ordering it in about 3 weeks from now! Cody - glad to hear you like it. I knew you would... Wish I could see it. The way you describe the sound sounds like what I've been telling people. I think mine sounds like an old Steve McQueen movie. You have to hear it running up through the gears and downshifting to really get the full effect. It's great.
Enjoy

Steve McQueen movies are right on the money!! I love that down shifting roumble it makes sure is a beatifull sound I spent 10 or so mins just puting around my neighborhood and engine braking to recreate that sound over and over I also love how it idles and highway speeds are a dream no droning at all.
1 question though would you send me a pic of your from the rear so I can see how lined up mine is compaired to yours I havent adjusted it at all but it looks like the tips area bit lower then the stock ones (I kept the slash tips)

I'll get some pictures of the back when I get home and send them to you. You're right, the tips do hang a bit lower than the stock ones. I noticed that too. I also haven't done anything to straighten them out yet. I've gotta get some time to do that one of these weekends. The right tip on mine sticks out slightly further than the left one.
I'll write myself a note to try to send those pictures to you tonight.
