Hey Dan...I like your little side workshop area there off the garage. When I finally get around to remodeling mine and raising the roof, I'll have two lifts in the garage area and my workshop will be moved into what's now the master bedroom behind the garage and utility room...
...that'll give me a 20' x 25' area just for the workshop...
...boy, the Wahine will never see me then...

That little side workshop is the original garage before I added on to the house. It worked out well. It is different now. I have taken out a lot of the shelving and replaced it with the cabinets we took out of the kitchen. It is a complete mess right now, but when they finish up the work, I'll get it all together and neat!

Hey 'Bo - nice garage - but where's the snow shovel?
Dan,
I noticed nothing near the SS to fall and leave a scratch!
P.S. looks like Jeff and Scott will be able to make it to our Thursday cruise!!

Ok, here ya go. She's small & no where to expand. Flat roof too
barely enough room for the van, it's about 4 inches from the wall & 6 from the garage door. Just enough room behind the Hawk to open the door & get by, and my wife KNOWS not to scratch it.

Now how do you expect the rest of us to post pics when you start off with that arena you call a garage. I had to move a bunch of plywood and sheetrock just to make enough room to squeeze the SS in for the winter.

Here's the shack of a garage where the SS lives (behind the door on the left). Our 3 first generation Camaros get stuffed under the temporary carport in front of the garage. The El Camino is being restored in the right hand side of the garage.
I'll post pics of the proposed garage plans soon.
Here's the old canning kitchen side of the garage where the SS lives.
Here's the SS all tucked away.
Man, I can't wait until we can tear this mess down in a month and break ground for the 24' x 66' shop with the 10' x 33' side room!

Oh, yes....there will be a hoist. We've made provisions in the design for one. There won't be a second floor above the hoist area...it's open clear to the rafters and light will come in from two dormers.
