Alright my ricer friends I will be putting on Scott's SLP sticker soon, I was just wondering what I should do to the surface to prep it. I'm going to put it under the driver side taillight. Thanks!

Rubbing alcolhol or mineral spirits sparingly applied to the area should do nicely!

Patriot,

I put my SLP decal on last week. Put it in the same spot as you are going to put yours on you car.

Yeah, like DaddySS said, just use a small amount of mineral spirits or rubbing alcohol to remove any wax or polish from the clear coat. Then apply the decal.

I also have the RKSport red urethane letters in the rear fascia. Looks awesome! Sure balances out the looks of the back end. Will post pics one day soon... Have to get an A/C power adaptor for my digital cam for image uploading to the H/D. You sure can trash alot of batteries with out the A/C adaptor I tell ya.

This works extremely well in most conditions, but if you have RACE GLAZE on the fender are anywhere else, forget it. My decal just fell off on the floor. There is nothind short of lacqer thinner that will get it off.
