I received my SSOA packet yesterday and everything was great! One small glitch in the printout of options from GM. It lists my exterior trim and color as:

99Q Molding color, Dark Slate Metallic
99U Exterior color, primary, Dark Slate Metallic

The problem is that my car is Hugger Orange!!

Did anyone else with a Hugger Orange car notice this. The 99 code is correct for Hugger Orange.

The letter of authenticity did show that the car was Hugger Orange with a white top and white leather.

Hey Leonard, what a surprise! I reread my printout and it also shows Dark Slate Metallic for exterior and moulding colors.
How about you other Hugger owners?

Hmmmm........does the VIN on the print-out match your SS's VIN?
It's a print-out straight from GM's computers, so if the VIN matches, there's nothing I can change. It's just something I was able to get for the first 250 members for fun.

Not a problem.

Now I have one Camaro that Chevrolet says is a different color and one that they do not acknowledge that they built according to the VIN number.

This gets more interesting every day!!

Note the word primary.

That may be what's beneath the 99 (H.O.)

Teri, what color does yours show as its primary color? Is it white? I thought the U in 99U stood for upper. In the good old days U was for upper and L was for lower.

How about everyone else. What do you show as a primary color?

Yep, mine shows the same Dark Slate Metallic.

No biggie.

I've got the original build sheet for mine.

Thanx for all you efforts on this Teri.

I suppose that now that this is outta the way, you'll both find time for that garage and house project.
