I have to go to the local GM dealer for some warranty work on my wife's Suburban - a long story for another time - and what's in the showroom?
A beautiful 2001 Black Formula Firehawk. I thought there were no more Formula Hawks in Canada. You can walk in and drive it home. T Bars, 6 speed, Chrome rims just gorgeous.
Enjoy the day.

Good morning. I have the day off. I'll be heading to Manhattan to take care of "Acting biz" stuff. I'll chow in Little Italy while I'm running around. Thank God it'll be sunny.

Mornin', everyone! Hey, Dan, my mother-in-law just got back from France last night. She had a great trip too - got robbed on her second day. It was a holiday, so when she was in the train station the only way to get a ticket was from a machine. As she was walking up to the machine with her wallet in one hand and her credit card in the other, some guy ripped both items out of her hands and ran. Last Wednesday we had to go through the whole process of cancelling her cards, transferring her funds (she had a debit card) and wiring her money. Oh joy!

Bummer Jim!! Grace was there with a friend from Ottawa. They were there for a martial arts conference. 1400 martial artists of all disciplines from 37 coutries. There were no robberies in that group that included Jean Yves Theriault (sp?) who was a kick boxing champion. They were very safe!! Sorry to hear about your mom, that sucks. Where was she?? Grace was near Switzerland about an hour or two from Geneva. I can't remember the name of the place.

No Joe, she met a friend from Ottawa who is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu. I think she is a fifth degree. She works and teaches at a Dojo near Ottawa. I wouldn't want to mess with her!! They are just very good friends and she asked Grace to go with her. They had a 3 hour demonstration with the world's best. Grace was in awe at what these people could do. Maybe if she gets interested, I would go with her. I think all the martial arts have many positives to them. For the mind and the body!
