Let me just start by saying this just had to be done. This is what happens when an actor has way too much time. As some of you that know me and have met me know that I like to mock the whole "Guido driving a Camara". I like to keep the '80s IROC years still alive. C'mon I drive a car that's "Guinea-Tomato Red"! I wanted to get vanity plate for the SS but I had no idea as to what they would say. I could get my late mother's name "Concetta" because it already was taken. I did have that fake one made for the window. I wanted to use it for my message board name so I could be spotted at the shows just how I was finding everyone else. My friend Edde and I were just chatting F-bod stuff (he's got 2 Ram Air TA's). The subject somehow got into Donnie Brasco. Don't ask me how. Maybe it was just a fellow guinea thing. We started talking about the names our fathers used to have back in the day. All those Italian street names like :Jo Jo the "Whale", Johnny "Arms", The "Freezer", Jimmy the "Woman". We start chatting about how Al Pacino's character named Johnny Depp's in the movie. He said, "Your first name has to end with a "Y" or "E" sound. The second needs to be a color". Then it just jumped in. Eddie goes, "I got it"! JOEY RED! I said, "That's gotta nice ring to it. It sounds like a hitman for the Sopranos." It's a done deal! Fuggetabouutit!! Here's my mug getting ready to go out for a night out wit da guys.

And now that I have a "name" I had to make up one's for the rest of my F-bod brothers. This "La F-amilia". This first guys is my No. 2 man "Eddie da Ram". I send him out when I don't feel like having Rice for dinner. He likes to go out "Terroricing". Dis friggin guy is always eating.

And these are a few more of my henchmen. Dis here is "A.J. T-tops", "Kevy Rags" and "Jeff da Hugger".

These are their rides respectively:

"A.J. T-tops"

"Kevy Rags"

"Jeff da Hugger"

And dis here is "Marky Black". He's a little camera shy.

Dis hood is "Chrisy Bullwinkles". He does my north of the border work.

Here's "Scotty Hoofs". He plays for the "other" team. He does our spying. He aint to bright. He's the "slow" one out of the bunch.

What family would be complete without a "Don". We have one. A "boss of bosses" if you will. Here's Don Settlemire also know as The "Fbodfather". Judging from this pic you can see why.

Now who says our cars are for Rednecks? I beg to differ. Anyone says to you that they are have them talk to me. We'll invite them to my resturant where our specialty is "Broken Leg-o-Lamb".
OOOOOOOOOO AAYYYYYYYY Fuggetaboutit!! Hope you had a little laugh. And , if you didn't, me and my La F-amilia can take care of that.

How about "DANGEROUS DAN SS MAN", or just "DANGEROUS DAN"......

I have a pic of DANGEROUS DAN trying to pour water on my SS at our last car show. Caught him red handed on film. I will have to scan it in and post it. Nice post JOE I'll be there at Limerock again this year, can't wait!

I don't think anyone will be able to post the nicknames they already have for you - this is a family board.

Great post, Joey Red.

(said with the slight wave of the right hand)

I hope wez can still meet as a 'family' and break bread (or noses) at the obligatory places. (Lime Rock, SLP Day, Olive Garden?)

(said with all fingers pinched together on both hands, about shoulder high, waved ever so slightly)

I can only hope to 'run across' a tailor as good as the one you appear to have.

AAAAAAYYYYYYYY Fu ged a ba dit

You WILL have a nice day

Are you making it to Carisle? I'll be there all three days and at the Anniversary Dinner with the Don. We'll all have to break bread for Limerock too.

"Paulie da Pole" I love that pic of Dan. My question is- Isn't that your son right behind him? Why isn't he stopping him? Hmmmmm for a kid who wants to drive your SS when he's 16 I think he should've put in a little more effort.
