My friend has a 2001 SS auto and he's on his 3rd tranny I have a 2000 SS auto also but has very low mileage and seems fine so far.
Just wondering if anyone else is having problems with auto/trans and what are some signs to be aware of if the tranny is going to go bad or not?
Thanks Tony the Toolman

I haven't had any problem with mine. I did have the trans and convertor flushed and the filter replaced this past April in anticipation of the new track season. It also had about 27K miles on it then.

Do you have an additional cooler? They do help.
