Ohhhhhh!!! All I can say is Joey Red had a blast at Carisle. I got to meet up with old friends and meet a whole lotta new ones from the boards which was awesome and can't wait to see them all again. But that weekend marked a milestone for this "Camara" owner.

I got to meet the "Boss" known as "Moss". Kevy Rags and I helped out Jim and John from GMHTP magazine with a photoshoot of the SSR.

But what really made the weekend special for me was when I was asked to drive the 35th Anniversary T-Top coupe for the unvieling. I was originally asked to drive the 2001 Police Car in the parade. I brought it up to our "mmeting" spot with the Anniv. cars. As we're up there Don, the driver of the coupe asks me if I want to drive it. I said, "Are you kidding me"? He says, "Nope. I can drive it any day at work. You have the name, the same color SS, shirt- it was meant to be. It would mean more to you than it would to me." I looked at him and said in a hoarse Italian voice, "You're making Joey Red an offer he can't refuse." Of course I did. Here's some never before seen shots of the 35th's.
This is just before I crawled under the cover.

After I thanked Don I asked him if he could snap a few shots on the way down with my camera from the Police car.

The cool thing about the whole unvieling is I didn't even know what it looked like and I drove it to the grandstand. I was just as much as a surprise to me as everyone in the stands. I liked it very much!

It was definelty and honor to be a part of the unvieling and to be a part of Camaro history but most of all the events of this weekend made it offical. Joey Red was now a "made man" in the "Camara" Family. As the kiss of the "F-Bobfather's" ring makes it so. Fuggetaboutit!!!

Here are the rest of the shots from Carisle.

That is so neat! What a great memory to have. You'll never forget all the great people you meet at an F-body event. Just wait for Bragg-Smith!
