The Camaro Club of San Diego is holding a Coastal Cruise on Saturday July 28. This is an open cruise, anyone may join in. If you'd like to join CCSD, all the better.
We'll be meeting at the Mission Bay Visitor Center just off I-5 at 9:00 AM and will be departing at 9:30 sharp.
The route will follow coastal roads to the extent possible, with a lunch stop in San Juan Capistrano. From there we'll be heading over to I-15 via the Ortega Hiway with optional stops in the Temecula Wine Country.
Route maps will be provided at the departure point.
Please contact Eric Van Pelt at mail@vanpelt.com for further details.
The last time we did this, about 15 Camaros showed up and all had a great time. Join us for a fun time.

Is this an true cruise or a road race? I've been on only one and it started as a cruise, but ended up with most of the people trying to get from point a to point B as fast as they possibly could..

Well, that sorta depends on who shows up. The members of our club would never drive in an usafe or aggressive manner. We try to keep our cars in a group as we go.
Some individuals are not a well behaved as others.
BTW, when was the last time you cruised with CCSD?

Haven't.... I cruised with the Phoenix guys and with a few of the SoCal guys a couple of years ago, but none recently. The phoenix guys got up to 3 digits and the SoCal guys were close to 3 digits as well....

Those guys sound like they're more fun than we are.
Check out my post "Don't Do What I Did" on the SLP lounge board.
BTW, do you know a guy named Brett who lives in Orange County? He sent me a couple of e-mails.
