I was the unfortunate recipient of a door ding on the passenger side, about three inches above the trim, and two inches before the rear wheel. It left a tiny dent, and a stone chip like gouge that is 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch long. I can live with the gouge, touched it up, not to bad. Plus, with a black car, I do not want to get any paint work done to the car unless I get the whole thing repainted. I'd rather not ruin the natural line of the car. The dent is not super noticeable. From a few feet away, most can't see it. Looking down the line of the car, you can see it though.
That being said. I had a few people look at it. Both said to fix the dent, they'd have to drill most likely in from the wheel well. I really don't want any holes drilled in my car like that.
Any opinions, advice, or suggestions? This has been a rough summer so far for my baby. This door ding is the third paint damage people have done to my car this summer. The other two times, I was able to get everything taken care of with no paint work. I'm super carefull with the car and where it is, so it all has really frustated me and bummed me out.

Try the paintless dent removal. A friend of mine's brand new Beemer got dinged. He had the paintless dent removal people do their thing. After they worked out the dent, they buffed the paint, and it's as good as new.

I had a similar experience 2 cars ago.. on my 1998 Black Z28 T-Top car.. I .. yes.. I hate to admit it, dropped my t-top on the side of my car.. basically right outside where the speaker sits in the rear seats.. outside.. on the metal portion of the car. It creased and dented the car. They were able to (for $100) get the dent popped back out, and no paint was applied. They may have buffed something, but I'm not sure.. I was totally SHOCKED.. you COULD NOT tell it was ever dinged.
This place was called "It's dents or US!"

If so, they might be able to remove the inside panel to get to it. If it's on the door they shold be able to take off the door panel (very easy).
My Mom's Mercedes got dinged about a month ago, and it needed to have a hole drilled to get to it. The dent was about the size of a silver dollar, The hole was a little smaller than this
Also, there are plugs for the hole.

Yesterday I had "Professional Dent Removal" fix my wife's Suburban door. Some a$$ opened their door into hers.
No drilling, no painting, and in about 30 seconds it was gone. He is a real pro and has all shapes and sizes of tools for getting at the dent from the inside and forcing it back into shape. Try it first.

Took the SS a few places today. Recieved the same answer from everyone. Going to have to drill either through the inside that the door closes on to or possibly from inside the wheel well (what I'm hoping for). I'm going to talk to one of the guys that does it next Wednesday to make sure that it can and will be done from the wheel well.

Wahoo. The dent guy that comes to my dealership (the one I bought the SS from, I can actually see it from my front porch) was able to fix my ding dent without drilling. I was so happy when I picked up my SS today.
