I didn't do as well ... finished mid-pack in a group of about 40.
I invited a friend, Wes, that's into bikes and snowmobiles, to drive as well. He drove the car a couple of weeks ago and I thought he'd be good. He was, really good ... finished FIRST overall by about a second ... on a 35 second course
Just shows how good these cars can be in the rights hands.
I also think the KD's are every bit as good as the the Comp T/A R1's in this application.

Did you get any videos of your runs? I have never run mine but I ride along with some of the people from my club in their f-bodies. It is a lot of fun!

Sorry Amy .. no video I marshalled while Wes ran and got to see and hear 99-C219. Loved it!! The Straight pipe sounds so sweet ... especially compared to the 4 and 6 cylinder stuff.
This just in by e-mail ...
quote: Well again, thanks very much for last night! It was the highlight to my summer. Thanks! Wes
P.S.: I loved driving yor car, by the way. Excellent throttle response, unlimited power, fantastic grip, and I loved the 2nd gear ratio, it was kinda like first gear and a half, so it never bogged down. Great Weapon!

At the end the Tire Rack was selling them for $75.00 each U.S. I figure they're 1/2 to 2/3 used up, and one has a patched nail hole ... so they'll not really good for anything but autoX, it's a 16 to 17 hour road trip to pick them up (BTW the Yellowhead route is shorter and faster) so do some math and make an offer
