In this time of horror and possible economic panic, some disgusting "Americans" have found it convenient to see it as a time for personal financial gain. I am talking about the gas stations that have decided to raise prices because of the horrific attack on our nation's capital and economic center. Before the attack on our nation, prices in the Detroit metro area were averaging $1.67 for regular unleaded. On the evening of September 11th, some stations were charging as much as $5.00! These actions should not be tolerated! In addition to disrespecting our nation, they are causing economic panic that could be avoided. The ability of our nation to rebound both emotionally and economically is a key to show the world that we will not succumb to cowards that prey upon the innocent people of America. So here is the action to be taken: 1. NO LONGER AWARD BUSINESS TO GAS STATIONS WHOM PRICE GOUGE...TODAY, TOMORROW OR NEXT YEAR!! 2. CONTACT YOUR STATE AND FEDERAL OFFICIALS TO HAVE SPECIAL LEGISLATION PASSED TO BAN PRICE GOUGING.
