Yesterday I sent an inquiry to Scott Settlemire asking for his explaination of what was going on with price increase some of us have seen on our 35th Anni LE (Z4C option) orders. Scott asked me to share his comments with folks on the message boards. After reading his comments, you should like I, feel reassured that GM, Chevrolet or the Dealer networks are not attempting to capitalize on the popularity of the option. But rather, this situation appears to have been the result of a human error.
Here are Scott's comments:
Bottom line is that every dealer has received a bulletin last week telling them
that in every case where a dealer has a signed sales contract, we will provide
the options free to the customer....and the dealer.
..and we are taking steps to make the deal
right with the customer and the dealer....
