I could barely believe my eyes and ears today when i heard the news about CART indy driver Alex Zanardi. His crash resulting in the amputation of both his legs. I keep asking myself "When will the pain and suffering end?" I am again thrust into a state of total shock and disbelief. So much talent, so many lives. god help us through. God bless the lost. God help the survivors.

I go to the Indy 500 each year. These drivers really put it on the line. Even the great ones can make mistakes.
