Ladies and gentlemen, I regret to inform you that my SS is for sale. Yes, it is true, I must sell my beloved SS. I am moving to the northeast from Texas and the weather up there doesnt permit a 350rwhp vehicle to travel well in the snow. My question is this.....How much is this puppy worth? Where do I look to get an accurate estimate. of course the paint is perfect and well, the entire car is in perfect condition and very low miles. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think you'll find plenty of fellow SS owners in that area that would disagree with you. Buy a beater for the really bad snow days and keep your car.

Buy a beater for under $1000 for use during the bad weather. The insurance will be cheap. Having 2 cars may qualify you for a multi-car discount. You can then put your SS on a limited miles policy (ours is <7500/yr) and lower its cost too.
You'll most likely find that having two or more cars is the same cost as one primary vehicle.

This is what I do. I store my SS in the winter, I have it insured as a "pleasure vehicle." I get a big discount on it. I had a beater, but it was costing me alot to get it fixed. I just got a 2001 Cavalier to drive daily and in the winter. Low payment, good gas mileage, and cheap insurance.
