I just checked to see what the milage to Skyline and back was. 1616 miles! That was some driving. And I enjoyed every bit of it. The ride home was 606 miles. Almost 100 less than the ride there.

Forgot to check mine. I left the north end of Skyline at 3:00 p.m. and pulled into my drive about midnight with minimal stopping along the way.
Glad you're home safe and sound. That Z06 is a sweet ride - never drove it though!
Now you'll have to bring it down here to show me and Rock how it goes!

606 miles That's a Sunday afternoon ride. Bowling Green was just under 1,400 each way for us ... and we had to do it in a lowly SS Posts: 4222 | From: Winnipeg MB CA | Registered: Feb 2000

Averaged 27 to 28 on the highway. Much of the time on Skyline is was 2.7 to 10!! . It was 2.7 at WOT in 2nd gear. Hit the rev limiter once passing Her Hawk. I am still grinning.
I do have one confession to make. There was one really wide open stretch on 81. I hit 140 for a short stretch until I caught traffic. Closing speed was scary. Won't do that very often!! John was giving me grief about driving with a skirt on most of the time. Usually 70 to 75.

Coming back across the desert on a Monday...less traffic...from Las Vegas...had a little run with a friendly Viper. I say friendly because he didn't just disappear on me. Hit 136 on the flat! Felt pretty good and fully in control! I just can't say enough about those G-Force KD's!
