Words are insufficient to express the rage that has taken over the American heart, indeed, the hearts of freedom-loving people everywhere. Osama bin Laden, you have been called an "unspeakable bastard," but words are weak sisters to action. And there will be action. Perhaps, while this is being read, you and many of your followers will already be dead. One can only hope. We thank you for one thing. Because of you, there is no hole deep enough into which any terrorist today can crawl to escape the world's wrath. There is no desert vast enough nor mountain cavernous enough to provide safety. It's important for you all to know this. America is coming for you. As war veterans who have faced fear and death for far less reason than you have given us, we know your days are numbered. And the number is a small one. Unfortunately, this burden you heaped upon us must be lifted by our children, but like the children of every generation of Americans before them, they are ready. Write us from hell!

I hope and pray you are right. However reality has shown it will be very difficult. The Soviets lost 12,000 troops trying it.
Unfortunately our lives have changed forever. We shall always have an air of caution over innocence. Is our air we are breathing safe, how about that glass of water? The Hoover Dam? These things will never again be taken for granted.
My wish is for an end to terrorism world wide, and the safe return of all the men and women who are on a mission.
The death of one of our troops would be too many. We have the power and now the will to knock them out - so let's do it!
God Speed.
