Well, having been in Band, both in Jr. High and High School (we were geeks, but at least we were cool geeks)......I have been to Band Camp MANY times. With all of the fun and goofing around we had there, even today when I see my friends from my youth.....that phrase always rears up. "Remember that time at Band Camp when........."
Well, now that I've been to the Bragg-Smith event for the second year in a row, it's becoming a bit like Band Camp. I noticed that those memories were referenced constantly throughout every conversation we had together.
Those who have met up with each other at Lime Rock, IndY2K, Bowling Green, Milan, SLP day, etc.......they revisit our memory and we just can't contain ourselves as we want to share our experience with others. It comes back to us like Band Camp. "When I was at (insert event here)...."
I can't wait until we get 1000 Camaros to the 2002 Bowling Green event. Those of you who go will relive the memories of all of us as you hear............"And this one time, at Bragg-Smith........"
JoeyRed......I am going to get you. I owe ya one now. Have you gotten the "phone call" yet from the big guy in Detroit? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm sure when I finally get home there will be a message from Don Settlemire on my machine. Then I too can say to him, " And this one time...at Bragg Smith..." By the way Teri, those Oreos tasted sooooo good.

The REASON that Joey Red DID NOT get a call from "The big guy in Detroit" (who happened to be having a blast with the Texans and the Airforce) is that every time he left a message he went on and on and on...but left one thing out..............
