OK, I'll try to calm down .... but my '02 SS LE convertible came in yesterday!!! It had been on order since 9/1/01 and I had been having SSWS (SS Withdrawal Syndrome) ever since selling my '95 Impala SS so I could get this 35th Anniversary SS. I feel much better now.
A fellow Camaro SSer even stopped me before I got off the dealer's lot to look at the new car. He had just pulled in in his all black SS and hopped right out for a look-see. Got several more looks on the way to the house. Too cold here for the top down right now (and it's raining today) but a great time to really go over the car, give it a good waxing, and just sit in it in the garage and dream!
Anyway, I just wanted to share the good news.

Congrats Steve...I just took delivery of 2002 Firehawk #360 on Thursday, so I know the feeling well. I still have the '99 Firehawk and the '91 Formula SLP350, so I didn't have to go through all the withdrawal pangs you did, but nonetheless...there's just nothing like driving your new baby home and getting her safely into her new home...
...and now the fun begins...
...again...

Congrats on the new ride! But you just must ride with the top down.
Do we need to page poSSum for some inspiration? Just turn the heater on and wear warm clothes.
