My wife and I were in Toronto doing some post Christmas shopping. I stopped in at one of my favorite stores called "Autobann". They sell car related clothing, diecast models, and accessories, etc.. There's usually a good selection of Camaro tee shirts, golf shirts and hats, but I've only seen (and bought) one SS item in the many years of visiting the store.

Boy, was I surprised when I saw this.

I jumped at the chance to buy it. Apparently the jacket was made locally, in Toronto, under license from GM Canada.

The image should be there. My image site is sometimes slow due to the extra holiday traffic.

Do I smell a GP in the making here?
That is a really cool jacket. Sure would look nice on me while crusing around in my SS.

Of course since that is made in Canada, it would probably cost somewhere around $1500 right?

Here's Autobahn's website. I didn't see the jacket listed, but they do have discounts for car clubs. The jacket listed at $269 Canadian + tax (I was lucky and got it at a reduced price due to a Boxing Week sale).

Voiceguy you are right. I got a return e-mail from Autobahn saying they cannot ship to US addresses and they are unaware of anyone in the US selling the 35th Anniversary jacket.

Of course, if I am ever in Canada I can just stop by one of their stores and buy one. yeah, sure. Oh well, it is a great looking jacket. Maybe some enterprising outfit in the US will start making one someday.

Steve, maybe one of our Canadian friends can buy it for you and ship it to you! I know I would if I were there.

Fear not....Ralph White -- A GM Licensee that manufactures and sells a whole line of GM wearables and stuff will shortly be coming out with a line-up of SS and 35th stuff....it will eventually wind up on Chevy Mall (which we are working feverishly to change, by the way)

When the stuff is ready, ol' Fbodfather will send out his emails and post the info. on all the websites!

That sounds great! Actually, the amount of Camaro items on Chevy Mall is very limited right now. I was lucky enough to order a 35th Ann. cap and T-shirt when they first came out but these items aren't there anymore.

Thanks for the update.
