Would you be interested in watching a Dyno day in Vancouver, WA on Saturday morning?
The Third Gen F-body club, "Cascade Crew", has organized a Dyno day. They've invited several CorvetteForum.com , SiliconForestCorvetteClub.com and LS1.com members. We're thinking about going to watch the activities and meet people.
The meeting place on our side of town is the Tanasbourne Starbucks, next to Barnes & Noble book store, near the southeast intersection of 185th Avenue & Evergreen Parkway at 8:15 a.m. They'll be leaving at 8:30 a.m. and the Dyno Day starts at 9:00 a.m..
Let me know if it interests you. I don't think we'll make too long of a day of things due to the need to get back home and pull wire in the garage. You're of course still welcome to come over for that fun. We'll just play it by ear as far as how late things run. It depends on how much fun we're all having.
Here's the info. I have directions already written down. Toms Performance Machine & Repair 6707 NE 117th Ave. Vancouver, WA. 98662 (360) 256-1722
It's $50 for 3 pulls. I think we'll take the '69. If they have room on the schedule, Steve is interested in seeing how the 502 does.
It'll be good for us to see how a dyno day is handled (since we're getting a DynoJet sometime in the next 6 months).
I called the shop, and they told me that John Dewey of the Cascade Crew is handling the schedule. I called and left a message at his house asking him if there's room for a couple more cars. I'll let you know what he says when he calls back tonight.
If they're full and you don't want to drive to Washington, you are most welcome to ride with us. We can tuck your SS away safely in the garage while we're gone.

Hhhaaa Ha
Teri - Sounds good. If it looks like they can squeeze us in on the dyno, I'll head straight there from my place. If they're already full, I'll just meet at your place and take you up on the offer for a ride.

Now why wouldn't you want to caravan up there with the rest of us? That's half the fun!
Here's an aerial photo of where we're meeting. You'll see Sunset Hwy 26 at the north of the map, 185th to the west and the meeting place oulined in pink.
We'll be leaving our house around 8 a.m.....so just come on over to the house and head over with us where everyone else is waiting at Starbucks (whether you drive your car or not).
Too bad Nate is working........

Ahhh...the Starbucks in the bookstore, eh? I was thinking I could catch a few more minute of shut-eye if I met you in Vancouver but I had forgotten about everyone else meeting at Starbucks
I'll plan on being at your place around 7:30.
