Hey all, I posted early about what I shoudl do about the winter and snow, and now, I have decided to purchase tires, since it's snowing yet again. I just need help/advice on what to get and where. Just wondering what you all buy and where. . . also, should I buy just tires and swap them in the winter, or do I have to get rims as well. Your suggestions/advice/help is greatly appreciated

~Dan

Talk to SLP about takeoff rims. If I were getting snows, I would look at tire rack and I would get a set of takeoff rims cheap from SLP. That way you don't have to mount and remount every winter.

Just my opinion.

I bought Camaro 16" wheels for my car from a classified posting on one of the boards. Drove to Detroit to get them. I mounted 215/60/16 blizzaks from Tire Rack. Works well. Definitely corners poorly and you really feel the weight of your car when stopping, IMO. But it is definitely better for snow and ice traction.
