Ahhhhhh, nothing like stepping off the train and seeing the County Building surrounded by all of the local Fire Departments...........
They just let us back in the building (10:00 a.m. Pacific Time). There was a fire in the basement where the sump pumps are. Filled the whole building with smoke. There's a smouldering pile of insulation in the parking lot that they took out of the basement to extinguish.
There's still a slight smell....a sort of, acidy, citrus-like smell. The HVAC system just kicked back on and whatever is left in the system is circulating through the building. If it doesn't let up, I am outta here. It's not worth it. No one has told us what burned or what type of material it is.
Took a little break the last couple of days ... spent a night in the hospital to get 3 units of the red stuff pumped in to replace some of what I've lost over the last couple of months.
I go in next Thurdsday to have surgery to get the little problem with my "sewage system" fixed once and for all!!!!
Y"all have a great day and weekend, eh!!
