I have the power antenna from a 96 WS6 TA that was given to me after it was totaled last weekend. Long story on that but no one was hurt. Any way will it work for my 2000 SS? Do I need any extra parts or is the car pre-wired? Anybody know right off before I go pulling panels and stuff?

You may need the harness that goes from the radio head to the antenna.

you need the short pigtail that plugs into the antenna, then run one ground wire to the body, and two power wires up front. one goes into the back of the radio, one goes into the fuse box. ask HTWLSS, she can direct you to the install directions that are floating around on the web.
