I spent Sunday going on a cruise with the San Diego Camaro club. The route went all up through the mountains and there were tons of twisties to make everyone smile -- 40+ Camaros of all types showed up for the event including:

First Gens (67,68 & 69.. some of them show quality )
One second gen Z28
IROC's & other 3rd gens
Indy Pace cars
LT1 Z28's and SS's
LS1 Z28's and SS's
35th Anniversary LE

So we had a little bit of everything.. It was very nice seeing the variety of Camaros there.. the route was perfect and the group stayed together very well. The best part was the tons of stares and people pointing as we rolled through towns. It definetly drew LOTS of attention

Here is pic of some of the cars at a rest stop.. More cars were there but they were spread out and I couldnt get them all in one shot

Oh and KCAL channel 9 (an LA station) was there to cover the cruise for some sort of news story on the end of the Camaro.. it is supposed to air during the second game of the Lakers playoff series (in May sweeps).. The news guy seemed very cool and loved the cars so I'm hoping for a favorable story about the cars.. Oh and they interviewed me (along with some others) and shot a bunch of pics of the car so maybe I will get to be a TV celeb.. LOL -- the news guy also followed along with the cruise a good way and got many good shots of us rolling in caravan..

Thanks again to the SDCC for hosting a wonderful event!!!

Great pic. What are your chances of getting that group to Bowling Green? I'd love to see that many cars caravaning from the west coast with us.

Man, I so wish that I could have been there. I have a bunch of big tests this week and was torn between passing and cruising.......I'm waiting for the next cruise!
