Last year my sister and brother in law adopted a baby after attempting just about everything modern medicine had to offer. They got to bring the little guy home the day after he was born. Yesterday they got the final papers from the judge and it's 100% official! He's going to be 8 months old on Monday. Here's my nephew and godson when he was 6 months:

Even though he's adopted, he looks remarkably like my sister.

He is sooooo cute. It is such a shame they don't stay that little for long.

I wish them all of the luck in the world with the little one

What a great looking baby - you teaching him

You know which way I'd go

I'm with you Hawkeye, he's going to be a hockey player. I don't think he's going to be tall enough for basketball.

The way this kid runs around in his walker, I think he'd be natural.
